The Gate is a defensive structure. It has a very large amount of health, and a rectangular gateway which allows passage between its two sides. The button on both its sides allow a door covering this gateway to be raised or lowered. It costs 20 iridium to toggle the Gate's state, which is given to the Gate through the pipe to the side of its gateway. It is considerably larger than the Wall.

Gates can snap to Walls when a blueprint is being placed by hovering the cursor over the edge of a Wall. Gates can also snap with Keeps and Point Defenses.


Gates are best used with Walls, to allow your own team passage between the interior and exterior of your base without allowing enemies inside. However, they become mostly obsolete once an Upgrade Station has been built and Walls can be jumped over using the suit's jetpack.
